Firefox market share on the rise again according to OneStat. Global usage ~13% on average with rates in Western nations sometimes much higher (e.g. they have Australia listed at 24% and Germany at 39%!). This agrees qualitatively with the Xiti Monitor data from last month (though trying to find precise consensus is like trying to nail down jello ;).
Update: WebSideStory has some new numbers out, which agree qualitatively with the numbers I previously mentioned (though again, there is no exact consensus :).
Here’s something interesting as per the OneStat US data:
For every 5 people using IE there is one person using Firefox
For every 5 people using Firefox there is one person using Safari
For every 4 people using Safari there is one person using Opera
For every 4 people using Opera there is one person using Netscape
For every 2 people using Netscape there is one person using some other browser
99.9% of people in the US use one of the top five browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera or Netscape)
95.6% of people use one of the top two browsers (IE or Firefox)
79.8% of people use IE
