Internationalization

Over at my Ubuntu and Firefox tips pages I installed a tiny bit of Javascript in the HTML back in October to keep track of my site stats with Google Analytics. What I found surprised me; not only am I getting something on the order of 100 hits per day, but they’re coming from every continent! =D Its mostly North America and Europe, but take a look at the top 500 physical locations sending me hits:

At the same time however, only about 1-in-6 people visiting my site weren’t using an english language web browser. So it occurred to me after reading this article that I might want to add a little translate function to my site. The result is a set of linked flag images that go to Google Translate. I’m still testing it out, but it seems to be working fairly well.
